Ideal Vision recently organized an immersive engineering workshop for foundation students from INTI International College Penang. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with different aspects of engineering and equip them with practical knowledge and skills for their future careers. Six talented foundation students participated in the workshop, which offered a comprehensive and interactive learning experience.

The workshop began with a vision laboratory session where students learned about machine vision concepts and technology. They gained hands-on experience in setting up and operating vision systems and inspecting hardware using advanced vision technology. We also included a basic coding sharing session, where students learned coding principles and programming techniques from experienced system engineers.

The workshop also delved into machine vision for inspection purposes with the machine learning session. Students explored machine motion control and software applications, acquiring skills and knowledge for implementing advanced technologies in engineering. Another session was dedicated to mechanical design, where students were introduced to various tools, installations, and software and hardware processes. Practical exercises allowed them to apply their knowledge and deepen their understanding of mechanical design principles.

In addition to technical sessions, the workshop included a career tips sharing session by an HR executive. Students received valuable insights on resume writing and job interview techniques to enhance their professional development. The organizers also arranged games to promote teamwork and communication among the students, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in engineering.
