Ideal Vision proudly celebrated its 9th Anniversary Annual Dinner at Hatten Hotel Melaka on the 11th of May 2023, the first time the annual dinner was held outside of Penang. Themed “A Nostalgic Peranakan Date with Ideal Vision,” the event honored the company’s growth and paid homage to the Peranakan culture.

The evening commenced with a heartfelt speech by our Managing Director, Mr. Edmund Yuen, who addressed the dedicated and passionate employees of Ideal Vision. He emphasized how “We Will Never Walk Alone,” highlighted the importance of unity within the company and acknowledged collective achievements.

The Marco Polo Ballroom served as the venue, decorated with beautiful Peranakan elements, including flowers and cultural ornaments. Outside the ballroom, a photo booth designed like a Peranakan building awaited guests to capture memories. To further enhance the Peranakan experience, employees embraced the theme by dressing up in Baba and Nyonya costumes. The buffet dinner featured a delightful blend of Nyonya and International cuisine, showcasing Peranakan flavors, seafood, and an array of Nyonya kuih.

In line with Ideal Vision’s tradition of Lucky Draw games, the event featured Malaysian-themed games to determine the prize winners. The Batu Seremban battle tested swiftness and coordination, while the dodol scooping game emphasized teamwork. Game results determined participants’ chances in the auction for Lucky Draw prizes, including a grand prize of RM10,000 cash and a trip for two to Maldives worth RM10,000, as well as other cash prizes, vouchers, and gadgets. Ideal Vision also honored employees with the Long Service Award, recognizing their dedication and loyalty to the company. We also honored two standout employees with the Best Dressed Award, recognizing their outstanding commitment to the theme.

The 9th Anniversary Annual Dinner marked a significant milestone in the company’s journey, celebrating the achievements and unwavering spirit that had propelled Ideal Vision to new heights.
