Ideal Vision Embarks on an Unforgettable Journey to Seoul, Korea

After years of COVID-19 lockdown, it’s time to have a relaxing getaway together to unwind, refresh and recharge our mind! Ideal Vision recently concluded its highly anticipated annual company trip to Seoul, Korea. Over the course of 6 days and 4 nights, we immersed ourselves in the vibrant culture, breathtaking sights, and delectable cuisine of this enchanting city. The trip was not only a rewarding experience for the employees but also an opportunity to foster team spirit and build stronger bonds within the company.

The adventure began with a visit to Cheonggyecheon, a picturesque stream that flows through the heart of Seoul. Next on the itinerary was a leisurely stroll around Gwanghwamun Square, a historic and cultural landmark. One of the highlights of the trip was the Soyang River Sky Walk, a thrilling experience that allowed us to walk on a transparent glass walkway suspended high above the river. Continuing the adventure, we embarked on a journey to a Ski Resort, where we enjoyed a cozy night stay.

Immersing ourselves in the local culture, we had the privilege of dressing in traditional Hanbok attire. We visited the enchanting Bukchon Hanok Village, where we wandered through its narrow alleyways, lined with beautifully preserved traditional houses. No trip to Seoul would be complete without a visit to the iconic Gyeongbokgung Palace. We marveled at the grand architecture and learned about the rich history of this ancient royal palace. For a unique and educational experience, we visited the Seaweed and Kimchi Museum, where we learned about the traditional Korean food culture. We had the opportunity to participate in a do-it-yourself session, making our own kimchi. Among the many breathtaking landmarks explored, we went up to the famous Namsan Seoul Tower, where we were rewarded with stunning panoramic night views of the city. To satisfy our taste buds, we went on a food-hunting adventure at the renowned Gwangjang Market and Myeongdong Street. We savored a variety of mouthwatering Korean street food, from savory pancakes to spicy rice cakes.

One day was dedicated to free exploration, allowing us to venture out and experience Korea on our own. It was an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local lifestyle, discover hidden gems, and interact with the friendly locals.

The trip was a memorable one with lots of fun and laughter. Not forgetting the excitement we had when the tiny snowflakes gently fell from the sky just the night before we left. Let’s reminisce about the 6D4N beautiful memories from our Seoul, Korea Company Trip!
